JMAC Korea Japan study tour (31 May 2011-)

This week a tour arranged by JMAC Korea is visiting leading-edge Japanese food manufacturers. About 20 company executives and plant managers from one of the biggest Korean sweet maker are taking part. The purpose of the plant visit is to gain a first-hand understanding of advanced quality management & quality assurance to secure product safety through practical learning at shop floors.

JMAC Paris Japan study tour (23 May 2011-)

This week JMAC Paris is conducting lean production training at Gifu Body – a Toyota Group company from 23 May 2011 for one week. The training consists of both lectures and shop floor visits. This practical program enables participants to develop a deeper understanding of Japanese manufacturing so that they can apply the concept of lean production to their own shop floor.

JMAC provided Seminar at EU-Japan Centre

 JMAC’s chief consultant Tatsuhiro Nakashima provided the seminar on “EC Market in Japan” at EU-Japan Centre in Tokyo on 25 Feb. 2011.  This 5 day seminar is conducted by EU-Japan Centre on the theme of “Distribution & Business Practices in Japan” targeted European company executives who are in need of better understanding of Japan market for their business development in Japan.   13 company executives from 11 European countries joined the program.

JMAC provided Seminars & Workshop at AOTS’s new IR/HRM programs

JMAC’s consultant Tetsuji Saikawa, Kevin Plastow, and Sophie Lee provided several seminars and workshops in AOTS’s new program “Role of Executives for Better Industrial Relations(IR)” from 12 January to 1 February 2011 in Yokohama, Japan.

27 company executives and senior managers of IR/HRM visited Japan from 17 countries in Asia-Pacific/South America to take part in this program.

The program provided opportunities to share issues and recent changes in management practices in response to the global economic development, role of executives for better industrial relations (IR), various management approaches with cooperation of both labor and management implemented by Japanese companies and formulation of management model applying to the globalization.

The participants are expected to apply some of the lessons learned during the program to the issues of their own organizations or to the wider society in the home countries after the program.

Interactive Seminar linked with Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan

JMAC Milano President & CEO, Mr. Michele Bianchi put on an interactive seminar for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan on November 19th.
The event, “Italian Innovation, Myth or Reality” ,  was attended by 20 members of the ICCJ who participated in a very interesting discussion comparing Italian and Japanese approaches to innovation in the workplace across industries.  The event was immediately followed by the ICCJ`s monthly cocktail party in Aoyama, Tokyo, where the discussion continued into the night with nearly 100 people attending.

JMAC in the EU-Japan Centre News Letter

JMAC Milano Japan Study Tour

JMAC Milano this week will take part in a Japan study tour of best-practice manufacturing operations. Around 10 participants from Italian company executives will study the excellent plants of Toyota Group companies, following the visit of the exhibition “Monodzukuri Next 2010” held by Japan Management Association (JMA) at Tokyo Big Sight. On the last day, the participants will take part in the seminar on “MONODZUKURI – Japanese production way – Now & Future” presented by Kenji Matsumoto, Senior Consultant of JMAC to have a perspective view on Japanese manufacturing.

JMAC Australia Desk & Ai Group Japan Study Tour

JMAC Australia Desk in conjunction with The Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) will this week conduct a Japan study tour of best-practice manufacturing operations. 13 participants from Australian company executives will firstly take part in the seminar on “MONODZUKURI – Japanese production Way, Now and Future” by Kenji Matsumoto, Senior Consultant of JMAC, then visit and see the shop floor of a number of successful Japanese manufacturers.
