The Japan Management Association (JMA) was established in 1942 by the Japanese government as an organization to support primarily manufacturing productivity and quality improvement.

We are proud to say that we have made major contributions to the growth of Japanese industry over the years and have played a significant role in the development of multiple methodologies, techniques and know-how now known around the globe , including “Kaizen”, Lean Production and TPM..

In 1982, the consultation department of the JMA Group separated to form JMA Consultants Inc. (JMAC), which provides global consultation and seminars for manufacturing, service and government sectors in a wide-range of areas including Production, SCM, R&D, Strategy, Marketing, HRM, BPR and others.

For almost 70 years, we at JMAC have been supporting business innovation utilizing both Japanese management methodologies and those we have incorporated from the West. We are proud of our consulting approach and methods, which are unique and make JMAC the one and only Japan-based Global Consulting firm.
